ABOUT

MEMORIES ARE
MADE OF THIS //

In 2005 six musical friends found each other in a mutual love for the Comedian Harmonists. Commissioned by the Grachtenfestival Amsterdam, they brought a concert program (directed by Peter Blok) that gave voice once more to the music of the ensemble that was silenced by the nazi regime in 1935.

As a tribute, they named themselves after the founder of the Comedian Harmonists: Harry Frommermann.

Hours of rehearsals, numerous memorable concerts, six albums and many radio- and television appearances later, FROMMERMANN has expanded their ensemble as well as the repertoire. Nostalgic hits, treasures from the classical music era and well known contemporary songs feature peacefully side by side on the FROMMERMANN setlist.

But the mission that once ignited FROMMERMANN has never changed: to bring the most delightful music of the highest level to audiences everywhere.
