In
2011 Frommermann will present
not only one but two premières.
In the fall the Frommermannen
pay homage to restless romantic
Franz Schubert. Although Schubert
lived a very short time (he died
at age 31), he was extremely prolific
and left an enormous musical legacy
behind.
"I was not put on this earth
to do anything but compose".
To outsiders Franz Schubert was
an extrovert, a bon vivant, but
in reality he was a loner that
was completely absorbed in his
work.
Composing from six in the morning
until one in the afternoon, afterwards
penniless looking for companionship
and comfort with friends.
In 'FrommerFranz' Frommermann
tip their hat to this great master
and every now and again put their
party hats on.
Stage direction is in the hands
of Marc Pantus.
